What type of glasses do you offer?
We have five types of glasses lenses:
(1) Single Vision (Distance & Near): General use for seeing things far away or near. Offers one type of vision correction (distance or reading) throughout the entire lens.
(2) Progressive: No-line multifocal for seeing things both close and far away. our HD progressive lenses provide natural vision for distance, near, and everywhere in between
(3) Reading: Magnification power help in reading, writing, or performing other close-up activities. For Farsightedness (hyperopia), please use Single Vision Lenses.
(4) Non-prescription: Produced with the same high-quality lens material, but without a prescription. Lenses without any prescription
What type of lenses should I choose?
Our lenses all have anti-scratch, anti-reflective coatings. We offer two types of lenses: traditional and blue light blocking. The traditional transparent lenses are perfect for everyday use. If you are a heavy user of tablet devices, we strongly recommend you to choose the blue light blocking lenses.
What is our Lowest Index Lenses?
To ensure the highest quality, we do not offer Low Index lenses such as 1.50. Instead, our lowest index is 1.56, which is 15% thinner than the 1.50 lenses provided by other competitors. Additionally, our 1.56 Mid Lens comes with complimentary free anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coatings.
What index of lenses should I choose?
Lens index is a number that describes how thick or thin your lenses are. The higher a lens' index is, the thinner it becomes. Higher prescriptions require higher index lenses, while lower prescriptions require lower index lenses.
We offer 5 mains lens indexes -
1.56, 1.60, 1.67, 1.71 and 1.74. Larger index represents thinner lenses.
Our starting range start with the Mid Index lenses and go up to the most thinnest High indexes.
You may choose a mid-index lens such as 1.56 for a prescription that is lower strength. For very strong prescriptions, you may need premium your prescription, high index 1.74 lenses. Please see our suggestion while selecting the lens index in our lens selection wizard.
Availability of Lens indexes are based on the Lens Type like Single Vision, Progressive etc and our lens selection wizard will display only the available lens indexes per selected the lens type.
Can you fill prescription with prism?
Regrettably, at present, prism correction is not available for the lenses.
Can I use my contact lens prescription?
While contact lenses and glasses prescriptions may appear similar, they do not offer equal visual acuity. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer contact lenses. We highly recommend visiting a local optometrist to obtain the proper prescription for your needs.
How can I get my prescription?
To ensure accuracy, we recommend consulting a nearby optometrist and obtaining a prescription. Kindly ask your eye doctor to include your pupillary distance (PD) on the prescription. Do you offer glasses that turn into darker outdoors?
Yes for sure! We offer proprietary photochromic lenses. First select your eyeglasses frames and then select Photochromic after you enter your prescription during lens selection.
What are high index lenses made of?
High index lenses are crafted using a specialized form of plastic that has superior light refracting capabilities compared to standard index lenses. Consequently, these lenses can be sliced thinner than other types while still maintaining impeccable vision correction for individuals with stronger prescriptions.
Do high index lenses make eyes look smaller?
On the contrary, high index lenses counteract this occurrence. High index lenses produce reduced distortion in comparison to lower index lenses possessing an equivalent prescription. In cases where your prescription is elevated and your lenses are of considerable magnitude, it can result in a variance in the perceived size of your eyes, depending on whether you are experiencing nearsightedness or farsightedness.
Why are high index lenses so expensive?
High index lenses are typically pricier than lower index lenses due to their utilization of more expensive materials. Additionally, the manufacturing process for high index lenses is more time-consuming, and they can be highly personalized based on the individual's prescription. However, the numerous advantages of high index lenses justify the additional cost.
Why are my glasses lenses so thick?
If your eye prescription is high, the lenses will need to be cut thicker to accurately correct your vision. Fortunately, opting for higher index lenses for your glasses allows them to be thicker while still achieving perfect vision correction.
How is progressive distances decided?
Typically, the lens height is divided into 60% for distance vision and 40% for reading.
Can I purchase lenses by themselves?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide lenses as standalone products without their associated frames on our website.

How do I read my prescription?
Navigating the complex array of numbers and letters on your prescription can be a bit daunting, but worry not, as we have it all explained for you. Check out our tutorial that walks you through the process of understanding prescription codes.
What should I do if I have a strong prescription?
Our eyeglasses offer a sphere (SPH) range of -12.00 to +12.00 for the lenses. For individuals with strong prescriptions, our premium 1.74 index lenses are available to minimize the weight and thickness of the lens, providing a fashionable and sophisticated look.
What is "PD" and how do I get mine?
PD, also known as pupilalry distance, is the distance in millimeters between the center of one pupil and the other. It is usually provided in your prescription, but if it's not, you can measure it on your own or consult your eye doctor for accurate measurement.
How can I measure my PD?
To obtain accurate measurements, you have the option of either performing the measurements yourself or enlisting the assistance of another individual. In order to do so, you will need a mirror and a ruler. Position the ruler with the millimeter side facing up directly under the midpoint of either your right or left pupil. Maintaining a straight gaze, carefully measure the distance from the center of your left pupil to the center of your right pupil. It is recommended to repeat this process in order to ensure precision. Please bear in mind that the average pupillary distance typically falls within the range of 57 to 65 millimeters.
Can I purchase Glasses without Prescription?
In certain cases, we understand that you may not have your prescription readily available. However, there's no need to worry as you can still place an order for glasses without a prescription. In this case Select option "Email Later" which selecting the lenses.
Simply email us at prescription@VIVGlasses.com at a later time to provide your prescription. Typically, we will put your order on hold until we receive the prescription.
Note: We so offer Non-Rx prescription glasses which do not requires prescription.
Why I am seeing 'Lens' as a separate item in the cart?
When reaching the checkout page, customers will notice that we have presented the added lens as a separate component. This allows for an easy differentiation between the item and its associated pricing. The added lens will consistently be displayed below the frame on a gray background. It is important to mention that removing the frame will result in the removal of the added lens as well.
How do I place an order?
Explore our wide selection of frames and find the perfect one for you. Consider choosing multiple frames to match different styles or occasions! Once you've made your selection, simply provide us with your prescription details and let us know which lenses and coatings you prefer. Leave the rest to us!

How do I submit my prescription?
When choosing the ideal lens for your prescription eyeglasses, you have the option to provide your prescription using the following methods -
- Upload File - Please upload your prescription file from your doctor's office. We are able to accept files in the following formats - PNG, JPG, or PDF.
- Enter Manually - There will be an easy-to-use interface available for entering the prescription.
- Email Later - select to send your prescription to us later at prescription@VIVGlasses.com.

What do I need to order?
In order to purchase prescription eyeglasses, it is necessary to provide a prescription that is specifically tailored to the item you have chosen. Here are some additional details for each type of order: Prescription glasses or sunglasses:
You’ll need a valid eyeglasses prescription which means it should be -
- Its for eyeglasses and not for contacts,
- It hasn’t expired, and
- all values are visible.
Based on your prescription, we may also need your pupillary distance (PD).

Do I need to create account to purchases glasses?
It is not required! You have the option to place an order without creating an account. Order tracking is accessible for both guest and registered users.
Creating an account while placing an order allows you to access additional features such as viewing order history, checking order status, and printing invoices for previous purchases. For new or guest users, password creation is possible on the 'Create an account' page. If you forget your password, simply click 'Forgot password?' to retrieve it.

If you reach out to us within 4 hours after placing an order, our dedicated customer service team will be able to address any issues with your prescription. How to choose the Glasses Frame Material that's right for me?
At VIVGlasses, we provide a wide range of eyeglass premium frame materials to provide you with the most varied selection possible which include Pure Titanium, Cellulose Acetate, Ultem (Polyetherimide), Wood, Stainless Steel, and TR90.
In order to maintain our reputation for providing high-quality products, we have chosen to exclude plastic frames from our offerings due to their lack of style and lower quality.
Why I am not seeing try-on feature?
Unfortunately, we currently do not have try-on features on our site. However, we are actively working on implementing this feature and it will be available in the near future.
Is it possible to order glasses with non-prescription lenses?
Absolutely! During Lens Selection, make sure to choose Non-Prescription lenses in first step.
Our selection of non prescription eyeglasses is extensive and includes Blue Light Filtering, Sunglasses, and Photochromic styles.
Do you offer children's frames?
Sure! As an esteemed provider of eyeglasses, we focus on catering to the diverse eyeglasses needs of both adults and children. Our wide range of offerings includes a variety of stylish and functional eyewear options for individuals of all ages.
What about prescription sunglasses?
We have a huge selection of men's and women's sunglasses styles, with wide range of unique tinting options. You can also turn any eyeglasses frame into a pair of shades with our sun tint option!

How do I measure my frames?
When purchasing glasses online, it is crucial to have accurate frame measurements. To determine the right measurements, inspect the inside of the temple arm where you should find numerical values. These numbers represent your frame measurements.

Can I buy the frames alone?
Absolutely, you can! Opt for the Frame Only option when selecting lenses during the first step.
What are the Frame Size?
Choosing the right size for your eyeglasses is important to ensure a comfortable fit and optimal vision. The most important measurement to know is your frame width, as that’s what we base all our sizes on at VIVGLASSES.Â

- Extra Small - 110 - 118 mm
- Small - 119 - 125 mm

Can I track my order?

For our customers in the United States, we provide both standard USPS service and expedited service through FedEx.
How do I make an exchange or return?

Important: Do Not Send Package to Shipping Address
Our shipping address is unable to accommodate returns, so kindly avoid sending your package there. Instead, reach out to our dedicated Customer Support Team to obtain the appropriate return address and ensure a smooth return process. If package is sent directly to the shipping address, returns are guaranteed.
What is your return policy?
Rest assured that our eyewear is backed by a quality guarantee. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, feel free to reach out to us for a refund or a replacement.
In cases of material defects, workmanship issues, or shipping damage -
The 14-Day Free Returns policy enables customers to easily exchange or return items within a two-week timeframe. Simply provide evidence of any damage, and your request will be promptly processed without any further inquiries.
For anything else -
In view of the customization involved in the eyeglasses pair, we will provide a one-time replacement pair or refund within a 12-month period, according to the following terms -
- 100% frame value
- 50% of Lens value
Customers have to bear all return and exchange shipping fees. There are no additional charges for restocking or any hidden fees.
